Cambodian Reinsurance Company “Cambodia Re” was established in 2002 in the form of a State Company and was transformed into a joint venture company in 2004. As a national reinsurer, Cambodia Re has good knowledge and understanding about the culture and profiles of local risks that allow us to develop and offer comprehensive reinsurance services, which are the risk transfer solutions covering all insurance products, to all insurance companies in Cambodia.

In addition, Cambodia Re has actively provided value added to clients in terms of the support for the development of professional capacity for the industry and sharing accumulated market data on risk and loss profiles. Also, Cambodia Re plays active roles in the Insurance Association of Cambodia in various matters for raising profile and the development of the market.

The existence of Cambodia Re has significantly contributed to the support of the Royal Government of Cambodia’s policies for maintaining the stability of insurance market and reduction of capital outflow.
